Rent-to-Own Platform for Homeownership
We built their product team and helped them attract investment.

RUUF is a Turkey-based proptech startup that reimagined the path to homeownership. Instead of requiring a large down payment upfront, the platform let users move into a home and build equity through monthly payments, combining rent and installment into a single model. The idea addressed one of the biggest barriers to homeownership in Turkey: the gap between what people can afford monthly and what they need to buy.
The Challenge
When RUUF came to us, they had a strong product thesis and a founding team that understood the market. What they did not have was an engineering team. No CTO, no developers, no architecture. They needed to go from idea to working product fast enough to validate the model with real users and close a funding round.
Hiring a full senior engineering team from scratch takes months. RUUF did not have months. They needed a team that could start immediately, own the architecture decisions, and ship a production-grade product without the overhead of building an internal team first.
What We Built
We became RUUF's product and engineering team end to end.
The scope covered everything a fintech-grade proptech platform requires. A web application built on Next.js and Tailwind CSS gave users a clean interface to browse properties, simulate payment plans, and manage their accounts. A React Native mobile app extended the platform to iOS and Android. The backend ran on a microservice architecture using .NET, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Firebase, designed from the start to handle the transactional complexity of a rent-to-own model.
Bank integrations were a core part of the build. Payment processing, installment tracking, and financial compliance in a regulated environment require backend architecture that is built correctly from day one. We owned those decisions.
The frontend, mobile, backend, and infrastructure were all built and maintained by our team. Architecture decisions, sprint planning, deployment pipelines, and production monitoring included. RUUF's founding team focused on the business while we focused on the product.
The platform moved from idea to production on a timeline that let RUUF run real go-to-market work and close their funding round.
The Outcome
RUUF launched a production-grade rent-to-own platform and successfully closed a funding round with a working product in market. The platform handled real users, real properties, and real financial transactions.
